Self-Citation Policy

GEM Journal maintains a strict policy against excessive self-citation. Editorial members and authors are discouraged from citing the journal unnecessarily to inflate metrics. Self-citations currently comprise less than 5% of total citations.

All articles published in GEM are indexed in Google Scholar. An official journal profile is being established to track citation trends and researcher engagement over time.
